toadstool

i just got my very first coral and it was a toadstool on sat. and i'm very happy with it but just wondering how long until those polyps grow? sorry i'm not sure what they are called.

i posted this in another in the another forum and they said that the polyps are already fully grown is that true? sigh i hope not

Its hard to tell by the picture since the color looks a little off, but that looks more like a Fiji Yellow leather to me, not a toadstool leather. Pretty similar though, but there is a very noticeable difference in color if you put the 2 next to each other.

Anyways, the polyps will extend a bit further than they are now. If its the fiji yellow, they will only come out maybe double what they are now...if its a toadstool, then they're prolly gonna be a bit longer than that even. It will look more "fuzzy" than it is right now though..give it a few days

They wont "grow" but will probably extend a bit more once it gets more used to your tank.
