toadstools

i have a couple of toadstools that have been in my tank for about a month and the polyps only open seldom. they seem to almost be "shedding", there is a layer that seems to peel of of the top coral. anyone have any ideas. all the water tests come out perfect. the tank is a 40breeder with 2 9w vho's.

Need more current.....Wavemakers make a difference too.....There has to be enough current to keep the slime off....I have a tank that is 90% leathers.....I treat it as if it were a stony tank.....Mine thrive and have for over 5 years in that tank...
