Hi,

So few days ago i purchased a golden marron and a tomato clown. I also bought a green bubble tip. As soon as put them in the tank marron got the bubble tip and tomato was left alone and marron would not let him in. So i went and purchase a long tentacle anemone. He didnt go for it yet. I want to know if the tomato will ever move in or not. Should i get a bubble tip or leave it alone like this.

Thanks,

Honestly, I would be more worried about the clowns killing each other than if the "tomato" will be hosted by the M. doreensis -- though, would be nice to get a picture of the anemone, "LTA" is a common name that can apply to more than one species.

It's just a white and LT. Marron doesnt do anything at all. He loves the bubble tip and he is defending with his life lol. So I guess I just have to wait.

That doesn't tell much, anyway of getting a picture?

BTW -- for a hosting anemone, white = bleached, which is when they have expelled their internal algae.

What size tank?
What lights?
What are your current water parameters? (( with numbers ))
How long has the tank been set up?

Yeah when I get home an btw the LT doesn't like water current and he is in the corner where there is little water movement.

Is that a bad thing that have been bleached ?
My tank has been set up for more than 3 month as water is close to perfect.
One power head 425gph. Light is 150w MH with 2 65w power compact. 40g tank.

"Perfect" has many different definitions, what are the numbers for;
Salinity/SG
Nitrates/Nitrites/Ammonia
pH
temp

3 months is a bit soon to have one anemone, let alone two.

How deep is your sandbed? M. doreensis are sandbed dwelling anemones.

Cover your powerheads.
