Tomato clown questions

Ok so I read the sticky on how to pair clowns and I have a few questions.
My clown I am pretty sure is female since shes been in my home for at least 3 years, if shes not mature do I need to worry about adding a smaller clown? I recently got her a GBTA and she hosts in it like a good little clown should but shes not very big. Shes maybe 1.5 to 2" in length? It just seems kinda small to me. Do I need to be concerned about adding a second clown if shes not at an adult size? Also how large does the BTA need to be to house 2 clowns? Right now when its fully open its about the size of a fist.
Thanks Gina
PS I am new to this whole clown and anemone thing.

I would still add a smaller juvenile clownfish. 3 years is still a long time with regards to clownfish and your clown is most likely a female and will be the dominant clown of the tank.
