I purchased a pair of Tomato Clowns prob 8 months or so ago, and when i was looking at them the store guys said they got them together from someone who took their tank down. I dont recall them saying they were a mated pair, but one is and has always been at least twice the size. the male started out up in the upper corner of the tank and has now moved right below the pre-filter. never leaves this spot, EVER, literally gets food and then goes back. got a new amazing 10" bubble tip and the female is loving it. it looks like she even goes up and tries to lore him down to the anemone but he just sits there. she does not chase him or anything, they spend about no time together, they dont sleep together. just looked over at the tank and the male was hovering over the top of the anemone and then swam back to his spot, female was definitely looking for him. anybody have any thoughts?
