Tomato clowns

Well my tomato clowns are clearing the sand off the bottom of the tank to the bare glass. They have been dancing around all day. They have only been in my tank for two days but have been breeding regularly in their previous owners tank so could they be getting ready to lay eggs?

mine would do that then they would stay there most of the night in the cleared area in the corner they felt safe there i got an anenome and in a few months they began to host it
