When I switch my tank over from the 55 to 90 gallon, I'm not sure I want to put the tomato clowns in this tank. My question is what do people think of keeping this pair of fish in a 30 gallon tall, is this enough room? Presently, my yellow tang hangs out with this pair, but i think i'd have trouble adding new fish to the tank with this pair in there.

I had 4 in a 30 high (24x24x13 i think it was). They got along fine with each other and a few damsles that where in there. and i think there was a dotty back in there to. seemed to be fine. Nasty lil cusses though.
i had a tomatoe clown that was the meanest thing i have ever seen in my life. it would never let me in the tank to do any work and if i did get in there i would have a net to hold him at bay. when i cleaned the tank he would dive bomb the mag float. and to put a new fish in the tank, not a chance in hell. i had a neon dansel every bit of 5in. that he used to fight all the time. so if i was you i would def. plan ahead as to what fish to put in there or get all the fish in there for about a week then introduce those little hellions! but other than that he was a nice fish.lol

My black Clowns are every bit as mean as any clown I have ever had theyll light you up real quick .... ask Jeff they Kicked His ARSe for about 7 or 8 hrs straight while we was doin my rock work ....lol

i would say yes clowns dont need alot of space esp. if they have a nem ...my clowns dont go further than 5 in from there nem ever....
