Toms Rapids wet/dry filter

Over the weekend I was giving a 55 gal with a stand and I wanted to start gathering things to get this tank started. Well my brother had this toms Rapids wet/dry filter that he used for about a week and gave me becuause he burned up the small pump that I think is for the built in skimmer....would anyone know where I could find a replacement pump for this system as this a 350$ filter and would love not to have to go out and buy another skimmer/filtration setup if I can get this running. Does anyone have any experience with these filters? Thanks everyone

THe pump you get for it depends largely on the amount of water the wet/dry can drain. If it can only drain 700gph you dont want to get a pump that is 1000gph. Found out the model number and try to look up those details online.
