felt like grabbing the camera tonite and here is what came out!

let me know what you think. i'm definitely looking for suggestions on how to get better. it's hard to get good pics when all i have are frags, but i'm trying.

I lika a lot 1 and 2, the polyps and "skin" texture are very well reproduced! very nice!
But my favorite is number 3, I love the baby snails hanging from the big one (it's obviously not the same specie, hope they're not predators?)!

they look like pyramid snails ... and i would worry for my clams if i had those in my tank. they usually drill holes in the shells ... :eek2: :eek2:

i don't keep clams, but should i be worried otherwise?

Yep pyramid/rice snails predate on turbo's.They may eventually kill their host.Id definately pick them off and check all your turbos.

i dont keep turbo snails, only astrea/nassarious/cerith.

i'll still be on the lookout. seems that 6-line wrasses have been known to eat these, and i was thinking about getting one anyway.

this may have helped me make that decision, thanks!

I beleive Pyramid snails kill Zoos also, however, i dont think they look like Pyramid snails, but i could be wrong.
