Too Many Fish in a QT?

I have ich in my DT. I have a Powder brown tang, tomato clown, royal gramma and 2 firefish. Is this too many fish in a 20 gallon QT for 12 weeks?

How big is the tang? Other than that, my biggest concern would be the tomato clown messing with the gramma/firefish. Do you have any biological filtration going in QT (to control the ammonia)?

The tang is 4 inches and the other fish are all a little over 2 inches each. The tomato is pretty docile, for now.

I have some filter media in the sump with the carbon removed as well as a small bag of bio-media for use when I need to start the QT. I also have 2 PVC elbows for hiding places in the QT.

It's gonna be a little tight, but I think it should work. Just keep an eye on the tang/clown for aggression, and an even closer eye on the ammonia.

I agree, be sure to have hiding spots. Fish usually increase aggression when cramped; but, for some reason, seem to mellow out when being treated.
