Too many mushrooms!

I know I might get harassed here but how do I get rid of too many of the plain mushrooms. I don't mind some down around the bottom but these things are encroaching everything and they win any war except my kenya tree (which needs to go to my softy tank). Exchanging rock isn't really an option at this time. Any ideas or success stories?

I chisseled mine off and threw them into my sump when they started getting out of hand. I do not care what they do down there and it added some color to the sump. I did this a few years back and now they are everywhere, plus it looks pretty now. That way you can keep your rock in the main tank and have a pretty sump. BOL

When I catch a free floater I've been doing that and then sometimes a new reefer will come by and send them with bags of shroom, anthelia, or any other recently clumsily broken frags. Some are encroaching on sps bases and turning them white. They'll kill off peripheral heads of candy cane's as well.

Pin the free ones to the sand with a spare bit of conditioned coral, and they may grasp the coral. Then you can sell them.

I just cut them when theyget about an inch and sell them single they pay for my hobby. The stem shrinks up when you cut them to make the new shroom juat cut them every couple weeks in a few months they will be gone

I'm a newbie that wishes i had the problem! If you were going to kill them wonder if you could wrap them in a wet paper towel and send them to me. like in a padded envelope.

Sending them in a padded envelope wrapped in paper towels would wind up arriving to you as smelly mushroom jelly!
But maybe a thermos sale or something would be good?
