I have a 29 gal hosp tank that became a snail tank in about 2 days. I got so many of these little bugger, that I need to find something to get rid of them. I have a maroon clown in there right now cause of a hurt tail, and he isn't eating them. Does anyone have any idea of how to get rid of these snails?

Get a puffer, they love snails
Well, a pic wouldn't help much. The snails are supper small. I have a trigger that I could put in there to eat them, if it would do it in a couple of days. I don't want to leave him in there long. Will a puffer get along with the maroon clown? I've also got a lot, and I mean a lot of copepods in there. Will they hurt anything if there are too many of them? Anyways, thanks for the help so far.

The first ones are pyramid snails, and where you see them depend on whether they are good or not. If they are just in the sand, they are probably detritus eaters, on corals, coral eaters. There are even some that eat snails.
The second is a collinista(sp?) Harmless, if they are reproducing that fast perhaps you are feeding too much? They multiply in unison with what they have to eat. I suspect they've always been there, you just didn't see them.

get a hermit crab or two, they usually bring down the snail population quite a bit...
