Could I add (4) A. margaritophorus copper striped cardinalfish to my 75 gallon (40 gallon breeder sump).

I currrently have the following stocking list.

Macropharyngodon meleagris "“ Leopard Wrasse

Cirrhilabrus Marjorie "“ Marjorie Wrasse
Juvenile Cirrhilabrus lineatus - Lineatus
(3) Juvenile Paracheilinus octotaenia "“ Eight Line Flasher Wrasse
Centropyge bispinosa "“ Coral Beauty
Atrosalarias fuscus "“ Sailfin Blenny
Ctenogobiops tangaroai - Tangaroa Goby
(2) Amphiprion ocellaris - Ocellaris Clownfish

In terms of bioload, I'd say probably depending on your maintenance routines. You do have a lot of open water swimmers with those wrasse. Does you tank "look" full? That doesn't sound to scientific, but I think we can have a decent gut feeling for such questions. I see no reason for you to be hassled for asking. Perhaps others will have more input. Cheers.

Thanks, my maintenance routine is pretty set and I think pretty good....maintained a nano reef for a couple of years, till I got a major ick outbreak.

I'd hesitate adding a larger fish but would like something smaller that hangs or swims in the water column. Currently the Eight lines do a good job of this but would be nice to see something else too. Now the debate is these quad or a pair of helfrichs.

D-man - I waited for my eight lines. Had a beautiful male and lost him to ick in my nano reef and swore to myself if I found another I'd buy it. Didn't figure that my LFS would get in a trio of them. I think I made a great deal (financially & tank wise) in getting the three and the lineatus.

Oh forgot to add, you might be like that should be a no brainer helfrichs are definately more cooler than cardinal fish.

I agree however these are probably the first A. margaritophorus copper striped cardinalfish raised in captivity. How cool is that?

Adding a small fish like this can't possibly disturb your bio-filtration. If it does; you're one hidden fish death away from a crash.
