too much flow and power head heat?

Sorry all, another question.

I have a 50 gallon breeder tank 36x18x18

Is 4 powerheads: 2 Seio620's and 2 maxijet 1200's too strong or not enough? I also have a odyssea powerhead pumping water to my HOB refugium.

I guess my overall question is too much flow? not enough? And isn't 4 powerheads going to increase the temperature of my tank as well as crush me on my powerbill? Would it be better to get 2 say......Koralias instead and reduce amount of cords and electricity used?

As for what I'm keeping in my tank are fish with mixed corals and LR. I have a 2-3 inch sand bed.

Need advice. Thanks.

I don't think that is too much at all to be honest. If you are worried about the power bill than yes, go w/ the Hydors. Your best bet is to put those pumps on a wave timer. That will save you energy and do a better job of keeping detritus suspended until your filter can grab it.
