Too Much Flow??

I just bought a brain coral and am wondering how much flow they need. In 75G, I have a sump with a Mag5 for the return, and have a Maxi-Jet 900 located in the back right corner of my tank aimed towards the front glass for added water flow. The brain coral opens up fully when I turned off the Maxi-Jet 900, but only gets a tiny bit smaller when I have the Maxi-900 off. When the lights are off, it gets even smaller but that is typical for any coral to retract at night. Is it ok to leave the Maxi-Jet running (which I would obviously prefer) or will it eventually damage the brain coral?

These types of corals prefer to be placed on the sand bed in an area of very low flow. Too much current can tear/damage them. Can you reposition the powerhead so that the current doesn't increase water flow where the brain is?

Just as an aside - these corals also love to be fed. They should receive some type of meaty food (mysis shrimp, pieces of silverside, krill) at least 2x/week. It's best to feed them after the tank lights are turned off for the day. This way they get the most out of the food and photosynthesis.
