Too Much Light?????

One of my corals is growing about a centimetre per month but it is fading as days go on. Could it still be getting too much light?

Is it turning a different color or white? White would lead me to believe too much light, color change I would think either too many nutrients in the water or lacking something like Mg or Iodine....
