Too much liverock???

The trick with the water weld is to really moosh it into the rock. It's not very "sticky" on its own but it sets really hard, so it won't grab onto rock that is laid against it, but if it gets pushed into a crevice it will lock two pieces together like a little bridge. Also, just get the regular one, there's a "maxxx weld" or something that is fortified with steel fibers, no bueno.

The 1# per gallon is just a rule of thumb. It looks like you have some nice porous fancy-rock mixed in there, that stuff is super light but filters great. I wouldn't worry at all. I'm not convinced that bacteria are really space-limited anyways, it's just whatever looks good to you and has enough hidey holes and swim space. You'll be able to tell if your fish get claustrophobic if they start zooming spastically around the free space or doing OCD laps around the tank. Clowns don't really cruise like other fish do, they'll pick a home and chill.
