Took a bite out of my mushroom?

Hi all, so everything was going very well in my tank until this morning and wondering what could have happened. I have a 40g tall with a 10g sump.
Ammonia:0
Nitrites:0
Nitrates:0
pH: 8.2
Salinity: 1.025
Temp: 77
I have a dozen macroalgae, two large gorgonians, Xenia, two zoa colonies, an orange mushroom, and I added a rbta Sunday. One banggai cardinal, one firefish, 3 Hawaiian feather dusters, two pep shrimp and an emerald crab and a bunch of cerith and nassarius snails.
The tank has been very stable for over month other than adding the rbta almost a week ago. Growth was very high, and this morning I woke up to a shrunken(but not shriveled or deflated) nem, a closed gorgonian, a zoa colony upside down, and what looks like something munched the outside of my mushroom down to the mouth. I'm assuming it's the emerald crab though idk why when he has an entire tank full of palatable macros. But I also don't know why the nem is shrunk and the gorgonian is closed. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Let me tell you a story about my emerald crab.... Its was a coral eater and it left my tank, end of story. Crabs are little bas!#rds.

Emerald crabs I've seen take swipes at fish and sometimes get lucky, they can get big. Can't tell you how many finless fish I've seen in tanks holding them! Best for Fuge or not at all!

Are you sure the mushroom has a bite out of it? Post some pictures and you will get better help. It 'could' be that the mushroom coral is splitting or makes a 'baby'. If I am not mistaken they will split right in half.

Sorry for the very delayed response. For anyone interested, it didn't split. It stayed tiny for a long time but finally grew back to former glory recently

For as your nem, how old is the tank. It is recommend to add a nem to a mature tank, at least 6 months or older. Possibility it could be getting picked at.
