Decided that I hadn't taken any pictures in a while, so I decided to bust the camera out this weekend.

Here's a couple pictures of one of my Crocea clams...

One of my Favia...

And some of my various green star polyps... I love photographs of them...

This is a green ric that I have in one of my tanks. This picture isn't that great, but oh well...

And here are some pictures of some zoos that I have...

Later!

It's pretty much because of the compression and cropping. I noticed that they were noisy in Photoshop, but I didn't really care. :)

Thanks!

Yeah, i took about 20 pictures of the clam and I think that one was the best one. I should have the full res picture blown up for my office at work. :)

Cool, I'll keep that in mind. I generally do it first because it make the filters all run faster as I'm too impatient for my own good. lol

I try to do any sharpening near the end of my processing too, otherwise you tend amplify the halo effects while completing other processing effects. But DEFINITELY do it BEFORE resizing!

Real beautiful shots, how does your camera get so close with out loosing focus?

The Canon 100mm macro lens is a beautiful piece of work. That lens makes me look like I actually know what the heck I'm doing. :) The better the glass, the more it covers up my lack of skill. ;)

Thanks! That's probably the best batch of photos that I've taken. I haven't taken many lately though. An algae bloom in my big tank at home have made me lose interest in taking pictures of it. My tank at work is another story. Lots to photograph in there! Just need to bring my camera to work...
