tooth coral as hard to keep as flower pot?

i tried a flower pot( goniopora) mispelled probably, and wasnt successful........................i see tooth corals look alot like them , are they as hard to keep?
 
That's not what I know as a tooth coral (gotta hate common names, but...). Galaxea, as long as you provide high light and good water movement it should do well. The main thing to watch out for is its VERY long sweeper tentacles.
 
High light and water flow generally are not found on the bottom. Just make sure they are "downstream" of any other corals.
