Tooth coral

I got a tooth coral ( symphyllia ) for a week which was doing well ,inflated and even took pieces of shrimp.Today it was deflated , I checked my water parameters and everything is on target.Is this normal behavior or is this the beginnig of the end?

They can do that occasionally. Check your alk. And they like lower light, even shadow.

I got mine sitting on a rock 15" below my T5's,do you think that's still too much light?
