Top fathom skimmer decreased efficiency

I have top fathom skimmers (Venturi style) on both my tanks. Recently I have noticed decreased efficiency on both of them. It seems like the amount of bubbles and air in the skimmer has dramatically decreased. What would cause this? Seems like the water is circulating in the skimmer with very fee bubbles and absolutely no foam.

Take a few hours and clean the venturi and the pumps in vinegar. It isn't just salt creep that plagues venturi skimmers, sometimes a little calcium buildup happens. If everything is clean and it still isn't producing, it is possible that the bio-load isn't enough for a stable foam head, but I suspect that something is clogged.

I would try to clean the entire skimmer with vinegar. Sounds like its overdue.
