Top Fin aquariums at Petsmart/Petco

I was just looking at sizes of a 20 gallon long last night at the petsmart/petco in Cool Springs. Then I realized that the silicone job looked pretty darned good. And the glass seems a little thicker than I remember.
Maybe this might work for my new office tank? Hmmm.

My question.....
Have any of you used these tanks? Any issues?
I would have to get it drilled.....is the glass tempered?

We've had a couple of those along the way (currently running a 5.5 gallon one). Never had a problem with them other than the 2.5 gallon. We had two of them leak. I'm thinking that is just because it would be hard to silicone in such a small space.

Very possible.
If they aren't tempered, I may give it a shot. They're fairly inexpensive and seem to be decent quality.

I have a brand new 20 gallon long all glass Ill sell u for 30.00 Or a new 40 breeder for 55.00. if your intrested in either of those.

I've used 20L's from Petco numerous times with no issues. Drilling is no problem, either (in terms of tempering). FWIW, I drilled the 40 breeder from Petco, too (bottom) with no problems, too (except a dull hole saw...). It never hurts to contact the manufacturer to be safe, but I'm a Rebel;).
