Top off pump died.

Ozmolator pump? If so they are replaceable for around $25 sold anywhere that sells tunze.. Just google ozmolator pump.. Or if it's within Warranty period I've heard tunze is awesome at taking care of customers as long as it was not used for kalk..

Used for Kalk so it's a no go on the warranty (it worked for almost 4 years). I'll look into a replacement pump. My question though is how to replace them. It seems hard wired in. Has anyone done it and if so how easy is it?

On an older osmolator it is attached by a European terminal connector, 4 screws about halfway down the line where the black wire from the controller meets the white wire of the pump. Often on older units if you bought it used I see people who have soldered or made their own splice. On a stock unit you just undo the two screws that connect the wires of the pump, just like on a buss bar in a circuit breaker box.
