Turn off some of the light (the tube light) then move the hood off a little and take picture where light reflection is not there. Adjust white balance as needed to compensate for color due to abnormal light condition.

build a box out of acrylic, it allows you to get the camera lens below the surface of the water. this allows you to take perfect pics under full light and flow.
