Torch and Hammer corals die but Frogspawn florish...pests/flow the culprit?

I can't keep hammer corals alive nor can I have a torch last longer than a few months. I will eventually lose one head at a time; even if I yank it out to dip they never recover. The flow and look great and overnight i'll lose a head, once a single head is lost there is no saving the colony.

My tank is primarily an SPS tank (ridden with SPS pests atm).

My Frogspawn corals grow like crazy and I have yet to lose a single one in a year.

0-4 on torch corals
0-5 on hammers

Aren't they all fairly similar as far as flow/lighting/params are concerned? If I had pests, wouldn't they have at least attempted to take out some of my massive frogpawn colonies? I have one the size of two softballs atm...

Params:

Nitrates .1
Po4: 0.02-0.04
Alk: 7.4
Calc: 420
Mag: 1350
SG: 35ppm (ATO keeps stable)
Temp: 78.5 (apex controlled)
PH: 8.1 day 7.9 night

I do have alot of flow: MP60, MP40, Gyre 150, tank is 96x30x24

Lighting: 8 hydra 52's running whites 29% and blues 85%

I had the same problem. frogspawn did amazing, hammers slowly died and torches i couldnt keep for more than a month.

turns out my phophates were so high! over .32 and alk was LOW 5.9

expired test kits.....

after adjusting hammers started to recover, color up again. As for torches i dont know bc i dont have any at the moment.

So id say double check all parameters first
