Torch Coral demise?

Will a Scarlet hermit crab eat a Torch Coral??

I got up this morning and half my Torch was a bit damaged, half of it all white. Also my other Scarlet hermit(HAD two) was out of it's shell and dead. AND, my small Zoanthids were flipped upside down. I had not permently affixed them yet because they are new and I was trying different depths.

I'm wondering if the one crab went on a rampage during the night. :mad2:

I only have a Clark Clown and a Lawnmower Blenny.

I have a good size torch and a lot of scarlets and never had any problem. That's the first time it's pointed out.
