Torch Coral hasn't opened all day

Any thoughts? Should I be worried. This is the first time it has done this since we have had it.

corals in general do this from time to time. But check all your levels and if they're fine, i'd just let it be and wait a couple days.

Have you changed your light times at all recently? Some corals dont adjust well to light schedule changes.

yeah, i kind of screwed up yesterday. turned them on 4 hours late!! I had my water leves checked today and all is well!

i don't think turning it on late would be the problem. give it a little bit of time..

U have a 2 week old 55? I think that was a little bit early to add corals.

What are u using for Lighting?

actually it is 3 months now. We have had the coral for 1 month. It has increased in size and done expetionally well. Until today that is. I will give it another day. I'm not sure how to update my infor yet. lol

Lighting : Compact Coralife 2 atinic 13hours and 2 10K daylight 8 hours: moonlights all the time.

it sounds like ur doing everything right,
give the coral some time, the best thing to do is not freak out...
I honestly think its ok.

It's like 275 watts

Mine opened the first couple days durning the day then stay closed during the day and only opened at night. Be sure levels are good paying attention to calcium.GL
