Torch Coral ok?

Once my lighsts go out (they did a few mins ago) my torch closes. Is this normal? I thought they used sweeping tentacles at night. Thanks.

Until the lights come back on? I noticed that last night it was opened up and looked amazing under the blue lunar lights. Well if you don't mind I'd like to ask a questions about it since you have one. First do you ever feed it? I've heard that it doesn't or it helps to feed. Thanks for the response!

My torch also closes up at night. I use mysis to feed everything in my tank and my torch seems to get enough food from the excess mysis that it picks up. I have had it for about 6 months now and it has doubled in size.

It is normal for your torch to close. I feedd mine with mysis and chunks of raw shrimp that i cut up on occasion. Feeding them isn't a must though, it just helps them grow faster IMO.

Personally, I have tried feeding mine about 10 times and gave up.......they just let it slide off!

I've tried feeding mine a couple times with lot's of different kinds of food. sometines it will hold it for a while, but eventually the food will just fall away.
