well my torch coral have been not open good since I moved it a little bit to the left where it gets a little more flow just a little, but I haven't seen him open up like before, should I move it back to where it was?

Yeah, I always try to move my torch for better viewing but it just loves the flow where I have it now. You can experiment though to see if it gets used to the flow. As long as it's tentacles aren't twisting around or it looks like it's retracting into the skeleton you can experiment to see if he gets used to the flow and opens up more.

Ultimately, you may just decide that you like it better at full extension and end up moving it back. Feel free to experiment, you'll know if you're harassing it with too much flow by the look of it.

well it does open well but not like before even though I move it just like 2 inches to the left from where it was.. I guess I will have to move it back.. ohh another question should I glue my torch to the rock? I have it sitting in the sand

i like to keep my torches mobile. Because they are sensitive to flow and well things change in a tank. I dont see a problem though if it likes its perch.

I had a few small rocks that I glue my corals to so that they are still mobile but at the same time give them a nice base as well and if you want to move it up on to the rocks it all blends in. mine does the same thing give it time though in a new spot so it can adjust to the new flow and light and all to us two inches are not a big deal but to them it might seem like a huge change.
