Torch coral

Hello all, i am new to marine fishkeeping having switched from tropicals last year.

i have stocked slowly so far and have recently ecountered a problem with my torch,it was a single head frag when i bought it and it has grown well and seemed settled in the position i had put it in, medium height, mid - low flow as per lfs advice.

recently i found that the head has what i can only describe as detached from the stalk and it sitting at the side of it now, it has been fully opened all this time and does not seem to be suffering.

so my question is what is happening to it and do i need to take any emergency action.

i have tested all water quality perameters and they are within the acceptable ranges. and as far as i know it has not been damaged or bumped in any way. there are no fish in the tank that could have done this so am wondering whats happening to it.

any advice would really helpful and its nice to meet you all.

thanks in advance

Sometimes corals do things that just blow your mind and seem like theres no reason for what it has done....alot of times if you dip your corals its helps out quite a bit
