i recently placed two new torches in my tank and they have dead branches on them. will these branches eventually grow new tissue given the right conditions. how do these corals grow? will they grow new branches or will their heads just get bigger?
I believe that once the head is dead, it's dead and dosen't regrow it's tissue. Also the heads grow independent of each other, so no worry that the dead head might affect other heads.
