torch head closed

i have a (2 head torch one of the head is closed and won't open
what could be the problem, it has a white covering and its hard to the touch?

Are for the delayed response....any update or luck on this? Retracted heads are common and don't always mean there are issues. If it stays retracted for days then first check your tank parameters..... add pics to this post and we will be happy to give advice.

yea, usually when mine stays retracted ofr a few days, it dies.

Although they look soft, torches are large polyped stony (LPS) corals. Xavier613 is right, you might get more/better responses in the LPS coral forum.
