Torch placement near candy cane

Hello all, and happy thanksgiving. I picked up a nice torch coral the other day and have a small colony of candy cane coral located close enough for the torch coral to occasionally touch the candy cane. Is this a bad idea? The torches tenticles have brushed the candy cane without any real issues. Once the sweepers come out, will they have a similar reaction?
