Torch question

I have a torch that seems to extend it's flesh during the day, but doesn't full extract the tentacles. Kind of hard to explain, so I included this picture. Hoping someone can tell me if this is maybe too much or little light or flow. Any other torch I've had has always just extended the full tentacle length.

where is it in your tank, could be to much light.

It's about 1/3 way up from the bottom in my 90 gallon. I have two radion xr15w pro g4 on acclimate mode currently at 36% intensity. It seems like that wouldn't be too much for it.

Did it extend more when you saw it in the store? Not all torches are made equal.

Check your phosphates. Mines did the same until i lowered phos

I am working on getting them down, but they aren't too bad. Between .08 and .16. What were your phosphate levels?
