Hey,
I usually lurk in the SPS forum, but for this occasion I thought I would leave it to the experts over here. My question is, is this torch relieving itself, or is it expelling zooxanthelle? Or is it just releasing old zooxanthelle to make way for new ones?
Tank parameters are perfect, except alk is at 6.5 and I've got low Mag. Everything else is great 1.026, NH3 0, NO2 0,NO3 0,Po4 .05, Ca 450. New 250w 14k Hamiltons are the only change (went from 10k XMs).
All other corals are fine and have regular polyp extension.
I have not fed the torch in a few days. A few days ago I fed it a clump of "food mix" that I use that another member made for his 500g tank. It's got green matter and meat.
Lemme know what you pros think.
Thanks!
