Torches touching torches?

Can I place different types of torches next to each other or will they sting each other? For example can I place a gold torch next to a green torch? Thanks for any input.

I've found thicker tentacle Torches(Aussie) can mingle with other Thick tentacle Torch but the Thin, longer tentacle(Indo) ones can have a stronger sting and sometimes don't get along with the Thick ones.

Agree to this.

i would be very careful doing this .... i had a gold torch that had been thriving for the better part of a year ... got a tri-color tipped torch and located them next to eachother ... the tri is still doing well, the gold no longer exists ....

but then gold torches are considerably more delicate in the first place imo

glad i came acros this, I just lost my aussie gold torch. I had a branching hammer colony that my pencil urchin decided to tip overnight. Hammer heads landed on top of my aussie gold and a week later i have nothing but skeleton to show. Just when my aussie gold was splitting. I was thinking of acquiring another aussie gold and relocating it next to my purple&gold tip torch but its tentacles are thinner compare to aussie golds.
