Acropora tortuosa could be one of the possibilities. It is so small hard to say for sure.

Acropora insignis grows into thin branching tables and the corallites are spaced apart more. Also A. insignis will have long tubular axial corallites surrounded buy radials. Yours has short knob shaped axial corallites.

Yes, its not even similar, i just found a picture of the exact same coral and that is what it is labeled.

It happens. I have been guilty of pulling the ID trigger way too early many times myself. I have an Acropora species that has completely changed four times now, every time after I thought I was sure as what it was. It went from A. efflournce> A. granulosa> A. gomezi> Now I am thinking it A. austera. I gave it to five people now (one was Tony Vargas) and it looks like a completely different coral in each system.

Just goes to show, when it comes to SPS IDs you have to always keep an open mind and be willing to change your opinion with new information.
