I might be moving and don't want to risk killing everything since I know this happens to everyone. I am not moving very far but just seems like it will be hard to make it work with the closing of each house. Some of you have seen my tank. It is mainly SPS over 30 huge colonies and a red carpet. Everything very healthy and growing. I will only part out the livestock from all the tank equipment. **** I am looking to sell this most likely in two months so I am not looking to sell it now. ****

1. If you buy everything I will sell it for $5,000.

If I were to part out I must find two buyers:

1. All the livestock, corals, live rock, and fish ($3,000)... Too many to list you would need to come take a look... $3000 that is less than $100 a piece for coral (large colonies) not even including the fish and live rock. Some corals are huge green slimmer, red planet, etc.

2. EVERYTHING LESS THAN 3 YEARS OLD ($2,000).. I bought everything new. Tank , lighting, and all the equipment..... 5 feet by 2 feet by 2 feet.. Custom sump with Reef Octopus skimmer. ATI 8 bulb t5 fixture. 2 mp40s and everything else you would need.

***If interested please pm and I can send you pictures. I will not sell for less.*** Will Not Ship...

If you want, I can (and probably others on here) help you move all your stuff if you feel like its a daunting task on your own

Seconded, unless this is an excuse to get a bigger, better tank once you are settled (in which case, Good Luck!)

I know a lot of us on here would pitch in to help move/temporarily house and re-set up your tank!

Thanks for the offers

I might just consider doing that we will see. Thanks again for the help.

+1 on that.

I moved a tank a short distant (about 30 miles) and everything survived. Though it was mostly LPS. All the fish made it. Was a three day process. But it included moving a 100 gallon FW tank and the 150 gallon mixed reef tank.

I had help and I'm all in for "pay it back" if time and location work out. LMK

I have a 110 with 40 g refug.. with 12 fish, 2 brittle stars, a tiger tail cucumber and a few shrimp. Stable for the last 3+ months and set up for about a year. No coral eating fish with Reefbreeders lighting (growth is outstanding).

I can house anything for you, might need to use refugium if they are coral eating fish but I am good to go otherwise!!

I can text pics if interested. I hate to see good stuff sold out when a bit of friendly housing can hold things over!

There are more experienced people on here but I do have the room.

Bob

It's totally do-able. We always forget that before we got these corals in our tanks they were shipped all around the world in little bags from the ocean to the supplier to the local reef store to our tanks. They can handle a move much better than we think. :)

+1
I moved my 150 into and housed corals in tubs for a day or 2. I put new sand in and kept most of the water to make it easier. I have a 300g that doesn't have a bunch of stuff in it. I'd be willing to house whatever you need so that you can stay in the hobby. You've been around for a long time!!
