Why there's no TOTM for September and October ? IT's unussual in RC History

This is the reply I received from Nanook (RC mod) when I asked the same question...
"We apologize, it looks like we are not going to be ready for the TOTM this month. We hope to have a TOTM in November though, if we are lucky, possibly sometime in October depending on if the members get us their information in time."

I was wondering why we hadn't seen the update yet.

I had one of those a few years ago.
To get decent pictures and text is much more work than you would expect.

It should not come as a surprise when these are not ready in time.
Everything is free on Reef Central so we should not be to demanding.
A backup plan would be nice though.
