It has the exact same anterior Black band of a Blue angel and I want to say it doesn't have as many light blue bands on the posterior lateral portion as a pure Queen Juvenile. Ive seen a lot of juvenile Queens these past few weeks at all of the local LFS and this one does not look exactly like any of the ones Ive seen in person. It could definitely be the mix.
That brings something to mind. I hardly ever see Townsend Angels available for sale but on one of Coppolino's Diving and Collecting threads he spoke of how common they were South of Florida and how he was finding them just as much as Blues and Queens. They were just as prevalent. So why don't we see them for sale as frequently??
I dont think so, considering the size it is right now (1 inch), most of its patterns and colors have not fully formed. Plus on juvinile queens the anal and dorsal fin are pointed, unlike the blue.
