TR peppermint shrimp

Hi,
I am going to put in an order for shrimps and snails when you get in a new shipment of TR peppermint shrimp. Will that happen soon? I noticed the stocklist hasn't changed in a few weeks, and have blamed it on the weather.

Hi Dave,

Not sure when the next time we get TR shrimp. Maybe couple weeks. They are hit or miss on availability. THey are not real popular though for some reason. Most people want the wild ones, i think they feel they eat aptasia anemones better, not sure.

I'll order more TR's next time they are available though.

We just got in a new shipment of corals and fish this week. Jeremy has just been really busy and hasn't got me a new fish list to mail out.

With all the talk about buying tank-raised livestock, I'm surprised they don't sell. You'll be able to sell at least a few when they come in.

That's true, probably just haven't catched on. I remember when TR clowns first came out, people were afraid they wouldn't behave like normal clowns with amenomes, but they turned out to act almost exact like wild ones accept without the problems.

We'll keep carrying them when available, i'll buy anything tank raised i can get my hands on. I got a tank raised (not spawn i don't think, just raised from larvae) sailfin tang 2 weeks ago. Cost 3 times cost of normal one, but figured they won't get TR's going if we don't buy them, plus it was super hardy.

Cool. If I had room for a tang, the TR guys look great. Seems like it's worth it for the toughness, even without the environmental issues.
I see some TR shrimp on your newest list. I should order tomorrow, when the wife isn't looking.
