I have 2 x 150W coralife pendants (10 months old). I have the original 10,000K bulbs that were only used a few weeks and a set of 20,000K Ushio bulbs that still fire, but are well past their recommended lifespan.
I'm looking to trade (or somehow meet on price) for a 36" T5 fixture. I'd want a 6 bulb fixture (would consider an 8 if it will fit over my 18" wide tank). The fixture would need to either mount on the tank or hang from the ceiling and I want one with individual reflectors. I really like TEK fixtures, so that would be preferred.
The pendants list for around $280+/- each w/bulbs and 6 bulb TEK fixtures list for around $330+/- w/o bulbs. So, depending on the bulbs included and lifespan left on them, we can work out a fair switch.
The halides are simply too hot for my frag tank and are probably quite a bit of overkill. Also, my main tanks are T5, so hopefully there will be less of an adjustment needed as things go into and out of that tank. I'm just hoping someone has been looking to upgrade and is interested in a trade.
If you're interested in outright buying them, let me know. I was hoping to get $175 each. This price would easily let me get a replacement and bulbs without having to layout much (which is all I really want). I won't seperate the pair unless I get two interested buyers and can coordinate the sale.
