Transfer pods from refuge to tank?

I have what looks like thousands of pods in my refuge. Would like to transfer some into the main tank to give it a boost. I know they will work there way into the tank alittle at a time, but is there a way to do this manuelly?

Keep rocks in your fuge and when you feel you need more just transfer the rock to the tank. But i belive that if you have alot in your fuge then there should be plenty in your tank.

So these little buggers actually get sucked up into the pump, survive the journey and re-populate the DT? Any guess as to how many would survive such a journey? It can't be 100% survival can it?

I have always wanted to put a fuge above my DT with a gentle gravity induced drip to solve this problem. I guess i just didn't consider a trip through my return pump as something a pod could survive.

IME using a gravity return refugium and a pump return refugium the affect on the pod population was minimal. Many pods survive the ride up tot he tank and the few that are chopped into bits are immediate food for the coral.

I usually take some macro from my fuge and put it in my display over night. Seems like it works for feeding my mandarin.
