Transfering fish into new tank

I currently have a 55 gallon reef tank...I recently finished building a stand and getting supplies for a 92 gallon corner overflow tank.
Does anyone have some advice for transporting my fish into the new tank? I have plenty of live rock, buying 120 pounds of live sand. I was wondering if I bought about 20 gallons of water from my local marine store, used 50 gallons of my current water and the rest treated tap water would that be sufficient to safely transfer my fish? My sump is also an additional 20 gallons. Thanks

Water is Water. I wouldn't buy any from your LFS. I would use half your present water and make up half NEW. As far as transfering, what are you transfering? Is the rock cured. Are you taking down the old tank?

if you are talking about netting yoru fish, i woudl nto net them out instead see if you can trap them in a container without ever hacving to take them out of the water.
