Transferred to a new tank

Hey guys, here's my new setup

kCPLP

I've just transferred from another Nano, that was setup for around 18 months, everything's seems to be doing ok, I only have one clown that gets fed a little every other day (maybe even once every three days). But I seem to be battling a high nitrate level, I've managed to get it down to between 10 and 20ppm by doing a large water change over a few days, I dont really want to do another. By doing this I think I've also lowered the PH level, I'd say its around 7.6 maybe lower! Can anyone suggest how I can get these two back on track as I feel atm when I get one close to where I want it I mess another one up...

I can't see the pic...can you post some specifics on your tank like size, setup, etc? 10-20 nitrates isn't great but it shouldn't be an immediate danger to your fish. Your corals won't be real thrilled but they will probably be ok if you continue to make regular water changes. Unless there is something really bad like an ammonia spike, it's better to make slow and steady changes.

I'm not sure why the pH would drop from water changes. What's your alk measurement?

Also cannot see tank but "transferred" can be and issue depending on what all was transferred. Mainly the sand for the issues your facing and did you clean the sand beforehand if you transferred it. Was there any time for it all to cycle before the transfer. how much LR is there to help break down your nitrates. Do you run any kind of fuge or filter media?

For a fix as OrQidz said check your Alk for the PH fix and if its a bit low...SLOWLY start to add it back I use ReefFusion2 works well for me. The nitrates are a mild battle for my tank now but when I started they were terrible. My fix is that I grow algae in my fuge and on a algae scrubber and I use a filter sock which I change out every other day.
