Transferring QT to DT

Tomorrow is finally the day I can transfer my first fish into my DT tank :bounce3:. After careful observation and WC they look really healthy, love to eat and sleep in weird places lol. I am just making sure I am transferring them properly. My salinity is spot on with my DT & QT. Parameters are 0 across the board.

What would be the correct process to transfer them to the DT tank?

Them temp is maybe degree of so do I have to acclimate them?

If your salinity is within 0.001, the temperature within 1 degree and the alkalinity within 2.0 dKh you should be fine to move them over without acclimation. The transfers are a little less stressful to the fish if you make them early in the morning before the fish are fully awake. This is particularly true when you already have fish in the DT, but even when you are adding your first fish early mornings are best.

If you can move it with an acclimation box, or some sort of container, that would be best, IMO. Fish can get caught in the net in weird positions sometimes. And it's more stress to be in a net, than in a container.
