Transparent Blastomusa

See the attached photo. I have had this blastomussa in my 90 gallon mixed tank for about 8 months. It doesn't look like the other blasto's I ever seen as its heads are very swollen, fleshy and rather translucent. Is it getting too much light? flow? My params are:

Salinity: 1.025
Temp: 78
Nitrate: <5 ppm
Cal: 400 mg
Alk: 7.0 dkh

Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.

It looks like it is getting too much light. I've had one practically under a rock (NOT completely shaded) for the last 4 years and it looks great. Put it down on the bottom of your tank and FEED IT!

That's what I figured. I dose my tank 3 times a week with Warner's Reef Pure Ultimate Snow. I assume by feeding you mean something like baby brine?

Agree to much light, also needs fed. Baby brine or nutra ova are easy for them to digest, for smaller blasto's small mysis is also good. If you feed large mysis (PE mysis is large) you need to cut the large mysis up. They will regurgitate the food if it is to large, many times they will do this in the middle of the night.
