Trapping my fish

Got all my fish caught so I can get my 180 down to make room for the 220. It took two days and I had to get the last two hungry. My purple tang was the very last one and toughest to catch. He would swim up to the edge and just look in. I upped the ante by adding different types of food in the trap.

Catching fish is the worst. As you saw, i was starting up that hospital tank. FINALLY, last weekend got the last fish out of the DT. Ended up draining half way and moving rock work to one side. Was such a pain!

I use a diy trap that has a drop glass door held up with fishing line. I have a hole in the top that I put a tube in to drop food in the trap. My blue jaw triggers and the verhoven wrasse went right in.

A hole in the top, what a great idea. Will have to do it to my trap. Thanks for that tip. Paul
