treated tank?

i know if a tank is treated with copper u cant house invets in there anymore. i just got a 75g tank and the silicone is blue, does this necessarily mean that the tank has been treated? and if it has been treated do i have to buy a new tank or can i re-silicone it?

I mix water and vinegar to clean all new and used equipment before using it. If it passes the copper test, clean it up and set it up!!!!!!!!!

at they have one in the 2 dollar bin at holiday... also, I have the directions to clean them if there is copper is them. Aparently you use a weak solution of HCI, I have they diretions from a guy off of another forum.. It s supposed to nutrilize any metals.
